Evaluate-Ed Announces Groundbreaking MAT Dashboard – First Look for Trust Leaders

Evaluate-Ed is in the final stages of developing its highly anticipated MAT Dashboard, a pioneering tool designed to help Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) leaders conduct trust-wide self-evaluation, track progress, and enhance strategic decision-making.

This platform will provide MAT leaders with a centralised approach to trust-wide self-evaluation, fully aligned with Ofsted expectations. Built on the MATSE framework, it enables MATs to conduct structured, comprehensive self-evaluations that reflect Ofsted’s key priorities.

By offering clear insights into performance across all schools, the dashboard empowers trusts to demonstrate accountability, ensure compliance, and drive continuous improvement proactively.
Developed in collaboration with Dr. Christopher Mansell, a former MAT CEO and a key figure in Ofsted’s MAT inspection pilots, the dashboard is tailored specifically for MATs to align self-evaluation with strategic planning.

With over 25 years of experience leading and supporting MATs, Dr. Mansell has worked closely with Evaluate-Ed to develop a powerful tool that gives trust leaders complete oversight of key performance areas.

Emily Jones, Chief Operations Officer at Evaluate-Ed, commented: “As a former Headteacher and National Executive member of NAHT, I know how challenging it is for trust leaders to maintain oversight across multiple schools. The MAT Dashboard is designed to take the guesswork out of self-evaluation, providing clear insights that drive improvement, and help trusts demonstrate impact at every level.”

Unlike generic data tools, the MAT Dashboard focuses specifically on self-evaluation, enabling MATs to:

  • Assess trust-wide performance across key areas, including leadership, governance, safeguarding, SEND, and curriculum.
  • Compare and track progress over time across schools, subjects, and specialist areas.
  • Set and monitor trust-wide and school-specific improvement goals, ensuring targeted support where it’s needed most.
  • Generate structured, inspection-ready reports aligned with Ofsted expectations.

Exclusive First Look for MAT Leaders

To give trust leaders an early look at the MAT Dashboard’s capabilities, Evaluate-Ed will be hosting an exclusive webinar with Dr. Christopher Mansell, providing insight into how self-evaluation can be used as a powerful tool for improvement.
