With two decades of experience as a Headteacher and leader, Jones is set to enhance Evaluate-Ed’s mission of empowering excellence and transformative change in schools.
Emily Jones, previously known as Emily Proffitt, is a familiar face at Evaluate-Ed. Her previous engagement with the platform in her role as Headteacher at Cooper Perry Primary School provided her with invaluable insights into its impact on school self-evaluation and improvement. Notably, Jones also contributed to Evaluate-Ed’s development as a member of its evaluation committee, where she played a key role in shaping the platform’s latest features.
Evaluate-Ed was founded on a visionary approach to school improvement: “Start with what’s strong, transform what’s wrong.” Too often, schools are judged by what they are doing wrong, overlooking the incredible work achieved every day. In her new role as COO, Jones will spearhead Evaluate-Ed’s operational strategies and oversee the implementation of its comprehensive platform designed to aid schools and multi-academy trusts in their self-evaluation and improvement efforts. Her appointment reflects Evaluate-Ed’s commitment to integrating cutting-edge solutions and expert leadership into its services.
Jones is known for her vocal advocacy in education. Throughout her career she has been committed to addressing and finding solutions to the issues teachers face every day. Her work with the NAHT has further solidified her reputation as a thought leader dedicated to reducing administrative burdens while enhancing educational outcomes.
